Jakobsberg University Health Center is part of SLSO, the Stockholm County Health Care Area.

We are located at Jakobsberg Hospital, within walking distance from Jakobsberg Center, 18 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm city.

We are a pleasant workplace with about 50 employees from various professions. We have approximately 13,300 registered patients and are one of the larger health centers in the region.

Job Responsibilities:

The work involves all tasks associated with being a district nurse/nurse at a health center, primarily at the clinic.

The job requires broad competence and independence. We value good continuing education and high medical quality.

Qualifications:

Licensed nurse or district nurse. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage. Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare journal system.

Employment Type:

Permanent position. Full-time 100%. A probationary period may be applied. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date according to agreement.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Health Care Area:

  • Background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
